‘Char Katori’ (Hindi, literally translates to 'Four Bowls') is an immersive, community-driven team-building activity set in the breathtaking Himalayan villages. Designed as a fun and competitive game for start-up off-sites, teams work together on traditional tasks alongside local village hosts, fostering a meaningful connection between participants and the community.​​
The activity includes a competitive element, with prizes awarded to the winning team, and features detailed scoresheets and assessment criteria to evaluate team performance.

Hands-On Tasks: Teams engage in traditional tasks such as vegetable harvesting, traditional chutney making, and cooking on a traditional chulha (stove), all within set time limits.

Cultural Immersion: Participants learn about local customs, respect for nature, and sustainable farming practices while working closely with village hosts.

Team Empowerment: The activity supports teams in developing key skills, assessed based on the following criteria:
1. Problem Solving: Evaluated based on first-principles thinking, speed of decision-making, and the ability to collaborate and arrive at solutions.
2. Trust-Building & Reliability: Assessed on commitment toward the goal, seeing tasks through, taking ownership, doing everything possible to succeed, and staying true to expectations.
3. ​Ownership & Responsibility: Measured by taking responsibility for results and actions, avoiding blame games, and learning from observation, action, and improvement.
4. Decision-Making & Speed: Assessed through first-principles thinking, curiosity, and collaborative effort in making timely decisions.​
Game Format & Prizes
Conducted in the format of an engaging game, this activity includes a healthy competition, with prizes awarded to the team that performs best across all tasks. Scoresheets and assessment criteria are used to track and evaluate team performance.
